Why does Teufelberger say that the treeMOTION Essential and Pro are more suitable for female climbers?

From the very first prototypes of the new Treemotion we incorporated the comments and suggestions of the Teufelberger female Ambassadors into the final product design. The field tests also revealed that the new harness was more adapted to the climber’s female morphology.

Why is there no more aluminum ring on the back of the new treeMOTION Essential & Pro?

Over the past two years we have interviewed many climbers and our Ambassadors, and it has become apparent that the aluminum ring was used primarily to attach the chainsaw lanyard and that it was too heavy and poorly positioned. So, we decided to replace it with a red textile loop positioned at 90° to the treeMOTION and which supports 30kg. The textile loop can be replaced by a black Teufelberger openable ring.

The new treeMOTION Essential and Pro come with black openable rings, does the tool come with the harness and what are the specifications?

Yes, each treeMOTION comes with a wrench and a Torx T20 screwdriver.

Can I use the black openable ring elsewhere?

Yes, you can use it on the rope bridges of your treeMOTION or you can use it instead of the red textile loop at the back to attach your chainsaw.

What are the 4 small red textile loops on the upper side of the waist belt for?

They are used for attaching a chest suspender (upper assembly). The best way for installing it is with accessory carabiners. Attention! It’s not for fall arrest applications!

I don't like the new flat elastics used to connect the harness and the leg loops, is it possible to use the round elastics (bungee cord) previously installed on the old treeMOTION?

We have chosen to use new flat and softer elastics to limit the inconvenience caused by the sudden release of the elastic on the climbers' buttocks. However, if these new elastics do not suit you, you can replace them with the old round elastics (bungee cord) provided with each treeMOTION.

What is the life span of the new treeMOTION Essential and Pro?
